What this policy covers
This page is the public privacy policy for the Transportbidder Driver App. It explains what personal data we collect from driver partners, how we use it, and why the app needs foreground and background location.
Data we collect
- Account data: name, email, phone number, city, login credentials, verification status.
- Identity and vehicle data: DNI, driver's license, selfie, vehicle plate, vehicle documents, SOAT, background-check results.
- Location data: precise GPS location while the app is open, and background GPS when you are Online to receive ride requests. We use this to make you visible to passengers, calculate ETAs, and keep live tracking accurate.
- Device and usage data: device model, OS version, app interactions, crash reports, push notification tokens, IP address.
- Ride and earnings data: bids, counter-offers, accepted rides, earnings, wallet history, ride chats, ratings, support tickets.
Important: background location collection stops immediately when you go Offline or close the app.
How we use the data
- Verify your identity, license, vehicle, and safety eligibility.
- Match you with nearby passengers and process ride requests.
- Show your location on the map, calculate routes, and send ETAs.
- Track online status, perform fraud prevention, and send notifications.
- Process wallet and earnings information and comply with legal obligations.
Data sharing
- Passengers: first name, profile/verification photo, vehicle info, live location, ETA, and rating.
- Service providers: AWS, Google Maps, Firebase, and other infrastructure providers.
- Authorities: when required by law or court order.
We do not sell personal data.
Retention and deletion
- Verification documents and ride history are retained as needed for safety, tax, and legal compliance.
- Location and online-status data are retained only as long as necessary for matching and support.
- You can request deletion of your account and associated data by email or through support.
