What this policy covers
This page is the public privacy policy for the Transportbidder User App. It explains the personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use location data, and how you can contact us or delete your account.
Data we collect
- Account data: name, email, phone number, profile photo, login credentials, verification status.
- Ride data: pickup/drop-off locations, route selection, bids, ride notes, booking history.
- Location data: precise GPS location while the app is open in the foreground. We use it to show your position on the map, calculate distances, find nearby drivers, and enable live ride tracking.
- Device and usage data: device model, OS version, app interactions, crash reports, push notification tokens, IP address.
- Payments and support: wallet activity, transaction history, support messages, ratings, and reviews.
Important: the User App does not collect background location.
How we use the data
- Provide booking, bidding, and ride-tracking features.
- Match passengers with available drivers and send status updates.
- Process notifications, support requests, and service improvements.
- Prevent fraud, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations.
Data sharing
- Drivers: first name, profile photo, pickup/drop-off, ride price, and rating.
- Service providers: AWS, Google Maps, Firebase, and other infrastructure providers.
- Authorities: when required by law or court order.
We do not sell personal data.
Retention and deletion
- Ride history is retained for tax and legal purposes.
- Active account data remains until you delete your account.
- You can request deletion at any time from the app or by email.
